Trityl cellulose
Tritylcellulose is an interesting and often used material for the synthesis of a broad variety of 2,3-O-funcktionaiezd Cellulose derivative. After the modification of the remaining OH groups, the trityl protecting groups can be easily split off with hydrogen chloride.
